Bill Brereton welcomes Lib Dem Leader Nick Clegg's tax plans to help local families.

Lib Dem plans mean that no one will pay tax on the first £10,000 they earn. This will save workers £700 each in income tax.

Many low paid and part time workers will pay no tax at all.

mean up to £1,400 a year better off! The Lib Dems plan to help local people couldn't be more different to the Conservative Plan to cut taxes for millionaires.

NEW Lib Dem tax policies will take the four million lowest paid out of income tax - and will give most working people a £700 tax cut.

All pensioners will also get a tax cut of £100 - with no-one paying a penny of tax on the first £10,000 they earn.

The tax cut will be paid for by stopping the wealthiest people in society exploiting loop-holes to avoid paying tax.

As part of that process, the Lib Dems will put a new 'mansion tax' on homes worth over £2million.

Delyn's Bill Brereton said: "It's not right that those who live in multi-million pound mansions can pay less in tax than as hard-working families in semi-detached homes.

"Our plans will take the poorest people out of the tax system, help older people get by and give youngsters an incentive to work rather than collect benefits."

Bill added: "The Tories just want tax cuts for the richest 3,000 and Labour will put up taxes for everyone. Only the Liberal Democrats will cut tax for working and middle class families."

MIDDLE and working class families will all benefit from a tax cut worth up to £1,400 under the Lib Dems.

The plans announced by Nick Clegg and Vince Cable mean the first £10,000 earned by each person will be exempt from income tax - a £700 tax cut for each working individual. Pensioners will be £100 a year better off too. The tax cut will be paid for by closing loopholes exploited by the very rich to avoid paying a

fair share of tax
