Rosetta welcomes new service

A great new bus route - the number 23 the Holywell - Greenfield circular - has started operations after hard work behind the scenes by Cllr Rosetta Dolphin and your Greenfield Town councillors working together as a team.

The new service goes around the estate starting at Basingwerk Ave, Fulbrooke, Tan-Y-Bryn, Groesffordd, Queens Road, School Lane, Kings Ave, Delyn Road, Woodlands Drive, Dee View Road, Greenfield Road, Tan-Y-Felin, Holywell Bus Station then on up to Holywell Community Hospital.

Buses depart Basingwerk ave at 09.25, 10.25, & 11.25 and return from Holywell Bus Station at 09.43, 10.43, &11.43.

Fares are just £1 per single trip.

Cllr Rosetta Dolphin said: "This is a new morning service to Holywell and the new hospital and I would particularly ask you to note this is a hail and ride service. No new bus stops are being provided for this route.

"If you wish to catch the bus from anywhere on Tan-y-Felin do not forget to to flag it down.

"The bus use on this route is being monitored so I would urge you to please, please use it otherwise the service may be discontinued if the demand for it is not demonstrated."

All bus timetables for our area are available in Greenfield Post Office.
